The Visual Effects Society (VES) named a roster of VFX professionals to its latest class of VES Fellows.

The Visual Effects Society (VES) has named the 2018 inductees into the VES Hall of Fame, the newest Lifetime and Honorary members and this year’s recipient of the VES Founders Award.

VES Hall of Fame honorees include L.B. Abbott, Richard “Doc” Baily, Saul Bass, Ray Harryhausen, Derek Meddings, Eileen Moran and Gene Roddenberry.

The VFX pioneers behind films such as Superman and Tora! Tora! Tora! are among the inductees.

Star Trek patriarch Gene Roddenberry, Dynamation VFX pioneer Ray Harryhausen and film poster/title sequence legend Saul Bass are among the Visual Effect Society’s 2018 Hall of Fame class
